Take a career assessment.

The Career Development Center offers three different assessments to help explore your talents, strengths, and interests.

  • CliftonStrengths – Understanding your strengths unlocks your potential and leads you to greater performance. Discover your CliftonStrengths by completing this assessment and unlock your potential to thrive. By understanding your natural talents, you can learn to put your strengths into action!
  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) - Gain insight into what makes you, Develop self-awareness and awareness of others to frame your decisions, improve communication, and understand your needs.
  • Strong Interest Inventory - Identify robust insight into your interests and how they relate to your future career. Use this tool to consider potential careers, your educational path, and the world of work.

After you’ve completed an assessment and met with a CDC staff member to explore your results, upload a brief reflection summarizing your experience and any new insights into your interests/strengths. Your response should include details about how your results have impacted your everyday engagement in and out of the classroom.

NOTE: If you are enrolled in the UNIV 102 course, you can use your CliftonStrengths report from class.
